Christmas Party

Dear parents,

as you know tomorrow we have the school Christmas party. Don’t forget to send an empty lunch box,  a plastic plate, a plastic cup, a napkin and a big plastic or cloth bag to take the Christmas crafts to decorate at home with the children. School is till noon. May I remind you that those of you who wish to share photos/videos of the concert can do so by sending them to me by email or on a pendrive for me to upload on the blog.

May your Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill.
And may the year ahead be full of contentment and joy.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Christmas Concert

Dear parents,

just a short note to remind you of tomorrow’s invitation to come enjoy watching your children perform on stage to celebrate Christmas. I’m sure you’ll take plenty of photos/videos. If you all agree, then you can share them by sending me all the photos and videos taken by email or on a pendrive for me to upload on the blog. In this way you’ll have a variety of photos of your kids (especially if you miss taking good pictures). Anyone against this idea please let me know. Kindly send them on claudinechircop@onvol.net as my other email address has limited storage.

Looking forward to see you all.

Ms Claudine

The children are told to take out a number of fingers according to the number she tells them as quickly as they can.

Now the teacher is introducing the number 9 through a small presentation.

Here the children are practising the number formation in the air and sand.

The children are then given different things to work in pairs and individually to show the value of 9.

Finally the children use the programmable robot – Bee Bot to encourage them to count the number of squares to the chosen picture on the mat according to the number picked up from the bag.
